Background
The purpose of USAID/Cambodia’s upcoming “Feed the Future Cambodia Agriculture
Partnership Hub” will be to foster competitive, resilient, and inclusive
agricultural market systems development to provide increase economic
opportunities (jobs and income) for Cambodians, with a special emphasis on
women and youth.
The proposed Activity will promote and
expand market-based opportunities and will facilitate diversification and
competitiveness within the agriculture sector to achieve the following
high-level objectives:
- Inclusive and sustainable agriculture market systems strengthened
- Strengthened linkages and trust among market actors
Purpose of
Position
Palladium
seeks an innovative, private-sector oriented candidate to serve as the Partnership
Director on the upcoming Feed the Future Cambodia Agriculture Partnerships Hub
Activity. This position will ensure that the programs’ market-led partnership
strategy is fully integrated across objectives. This position will be part of
the Activity’s senior leadership team.

Penh, Cambodia
Roles and Responsibilities
- Advise the Chief of Party and Objective Leads
on how to foster market-led partnerships with private-sector actors in
Cambodia’s Horticulture sector - Lead the design and development of the
Activity’s grant program(s) and oversee the Request for Applications (RFA)
and award process - Work closely with Objective Leads to
manage grant program implementation - Ensure partnerships are coordinated across
objectives, identify areas for collaboration, and support linkages between
partners - Oversee the Activity’s grants management
team - Work closely with the program’s Gender and
Youth Inclusion Director to develop gender- and youth-sensitive partnerships - Share results and learning with project
leadership team, Palladium, and USAID - Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in agribusiness, trade, economics, international
development, or similar - Minimum 10 years’ experience working in
Cambodia’s development sector - Experience managing or overseeing donor
funded grant program required, USAID Grants Under Contract management
experience preferred - Prior experience overseeing partnerships
between the private sector and development programs preferred - Proven experience coordinating and
fostering good working relationships between technical and operational
teams - Demonstrated leadership, strategic
thinking and planning, management, and presentation skills - Strong interpersonal and supervision
skills managing teams - Written and oral proficiency in English
