Role Overview and Primary Responsibilities:
Palladium is seeking
management and technical experts for the upcoming USAID-funded Integrating
Water Supply, Sanitation, and Hygiene Service activity in Guatemala. The overall objective of the activity is to work with
local municipalities and the private sector to ensure rural Guatemalans in the
Western Highlands have reliable access to water adequate for human consumption
as well as improved sanitation facilities.
Technical Expert
Positions Include:
- WASH Integration
- Integrated water resources management
- Women, indigenous, and youth economic inclusion
- Private sector engagement
- Grants/ subcontracts management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Communication
- Operational and financial management
Required Qualifications:
Overall general
qualifications and experience will include:
- Advanced
degree in relevant technical area - Minimum
5 years of experience in the related technical area - Experience
with USAID and/or any other international donor-funded projects - Ability to facilitate partnerships with public and private sector
stakeholders, private
sector experience a plus - Excellent
communications skills - Guatemala
working experience required - Fluency in
Spanish and proficiency in English required - Ability to
travel and work throughout Guatemala
