As Group Financial Planning & Reporting Manager, you will ensure financial reporting is accurate for decision making, as well as evolving business needs. The Group Financial Planning & Reporting role will provide guidance in the development of the business cost structures and key performance indicators. This role is based in Brisbane, on a permanent, full-time basis..
About the Role:
Develop a reporting framework for the regions to be provided to the CFO including commentary on actual vs forecast;
Financial analysis and reporting for the organisation through finance teams located in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates;
Undertake financial planning and analysis that encompasses changing needs and growth of the company – supporting organic and inorganic growth, complex business models, evolving commercial opportunities and maintaining a controlled risk environment
Interpret operating results, identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions;
Improve monthly reporting to the Board;
Development of KPI Dashboards for the group;
Gather data and perform robust strategic and financial analysis, in particular financial modelling, to support decision making in relation to M&A activity and support Joint Venture operations;
Facilitate group wide planning and forecasting processes;
Exception monitoring and clearing within financial systems;
Accounting costing and allocation.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, with CPA/CA qualification advantageous;
Experienced in building and leading effective teams;
Experience with mergers and acquisition/JVs preferred;
Broad based experience in Finance positions;
Experience in a job cost accounting environment and the professional services sector;
Knowledge of government contracting rules and regulations desirable;
Demonstrated personal and situational awareness to build stakeholder confidence and positive relationships with individuals across all levels;
Demonstrated respect for diversity and inclusion and works to actively promote an inclusive work environment and good working relationships amongst other people.
