This Opportunity
The
Associate, International Proposal Talent Acquisition is an integral member of
our Talent Acquisition Team primarily partnering with our Business Development
Teams to assist in the end-to-end recruitment process
for Palladium’s Business Development and proposal efforts. The role will be
responsible for supporting all facets of recruiting success by conducting
various recruitment activities, effectively partnering with proposal teams and
hiring managers, and working with other Proposal Recruiters to manage the full
recruitment process.
The role reports to the Manager, International Proposal Talent
Acquisition and will support a small team of proposal recruiters and surge
consultants that will be embedded within Palladium’s Business Development Team.

Primary
Duties and Responsibilities
The
primary responsibilities of the Associate, International Proposal Talent
Acquisition are:
- Support timely and effective recruitment solutions by effectively liaising with proposal teams to ensure full understanding of requirements, preferences, and timeframes.
- Assist with implementing all phases of the proposal recruitment process.
- Gather all the relevant information about the vacancies (job descriptions, appropriate salary bands etc.) and ensure alignment across recruiters, hiring team, and management on attraction strategy, etc.
- Draft advertisements and assist with job postings.
- Assist with sourcing candidates from a variety of sources including job boards and social media sites.
- Conduct outreach to candidates, coordinating screenings and interviews.
- Review CVs, conduct interviews, reference checking and drafting offer letters.
- Develop a shortlist of qualified candidates, collect all relevant documents, and perform due diligence/background checks.
- Maintain accurate and concise candidate notes within the global ATS/CRM.
- Maintain regular contact with candidates and provide relevant and timely information and advice to enable them to make informed decisions.
- Ascertain work eligibility status of candidates.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Key
competencies required
- Previous experience in recruitment, including both proposals and internal staff required.
- Knowledge of international development.
- Ability to express yourself effectively in oral and written communications.
- Capacity to function well on a team and as an individual contributor.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences as it pertains to the global platform.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
Professional expertise/competencies preferred
- Knowledge of USAID-funded projects.
- Professional
working proficiency in a foreign language, preferably Spanish, French, or
Portuguese.
