I am a recent graduate of the Health Care Management and Policy program at Georgetown University.  I have experience in health education and research and am highly focused and adaptable to the needs of projects. I have ample experience in public health policy analysis. At my internship at the March of Dimes National Headquarters, I diligently researched to find and compile reliable electronic records and write policy reports. As a health researcher, I am familiar with public records. I often follow-up on sources and carefully manage communication networks with multiple departments to find the correct data and report my findings to my supervisors. In my courses in Health Services Research, I assessed practices and programs’ performance with data driven evidence. My work experiences have given me extensive practice working in administrative positions, both independently and as a team member. Many of my jobs have entailed compiling information and teaching it to audiences in concise and clear language. I enjoy the process greatly. I work well on tight deadlines and seek challenging assignments. As a hired facilitator with Georgetown Student Health Services, I created lessons to train groups of over 40 students on sexual assault and interpersonal violence prevention. As an intern with the Primeros Pasos clinic, working for the underserved indigenous populations in rural Guatemala. I helped develop their health curriculum and taught it to local schools in Spanish.  I have experience tutoring at Georgetown University’s Center for Social Justice, helping foreign language speakers learn English, tutoring at risk youth, and advising first-generation students on their college application process. In addition to being proficient in Spanish, I am also versed in Chinese.  In 2019, I spent four months in the Mandarin Immersion Program at the Capital Normal University in Beijing , followed by two months in Taiwan in a Mandarin program through the Taiwan Ministry of Education, and am skilled at both speaking and understanding Chinese.
