I am trained in public health specialised in environmental epidemiology with focuses on heath and climate change at Epidemiology and Global Health Unit, Umea centre for Global Health, Umeå University, Sweden. I am currently working as Post-doctoral researcher on European Commission Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme project titled. I have wide field experiences in study design, data analysis and project management, writing research articles and communication at local to global level. In the course of my professional and academic work experience, I have collaborated with a number of international institutions in the environmental health sciences including London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of Nottingham’s School of Geography and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I have authored a number of scientific publications in international peer reviewed journals in the areas related to climate change, public health and air pollution. I have worked in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments across the globe, and gained significant research experience in evaluating health and climate change trends, networking on the ground, and communicating policy implications to decision makers. My primary research focus is in assessing health and climate change resilience to environmental exposures under changing climates across globe.

I was employed at the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) in Hamah as a Cash for Work Officer. I previously held the position of Human Resources and Finance Officer at the Early learning centres and a Cash for Work officer in the Economic Inclusion program. My work experience is varied and includes a four years as contracts and accounting auditor and a three-years and a half stint as a Communication (senior lesion)Officer at a Travel Agency and . Based on my relevant qualifications, experience and skills, I am confident that I would be an appropriate candidate for this position. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Aleppo University also I am currently enrolled for an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the Higher Institute of Business Administration in the High institute of business administration (HIBA) and studding the international low in Al Ba'ath university. I have more than ten years of work experience ranging from office administration and support to coordination, human resources and quality assurance, stakeholder engagement and reporting and evaluation with donors, project officers and other counterparts. My experience at the AKF and my passion to work in the humanitarian sector has prepared me to work for organisations that have a global footprint and work locally on human rights and humanitarian issues. I believe I can contribute meaningfully to your team and for the betterment of vulnerable and marginalized groups of the region.
