I'm a research enthusiastic, special interest in AMR and Infectious Disease. I have the educational background on Veterinary Medicine, Public Health and One Health.
I am a medical doctor and public health professional. I have an experience of 12 years in public health. I have been working with MAMTA health institute for mother and child as Deputy Director- Implementation, Partnership and Innovation. My public health experience includes my work with Laerdal and projects funded by WHO, UNICEF and USAID (viz. NPSP, MCHIP etc) on various thematic areas ranging from polio, immunization, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, disease surveillance, nutrition, sanitation & hygiene and various aspects of primary health care. In my present job I am mainly responsible for leading the project teams in the domains of reproductive, maternal, adolescent, newborn and child health and providing techno-managerial support to the organization. During my career, I have worked in close coordination with the government on policy, planning and implementation. I have sound exposure to community and hospital based, health systems strengthening interventions. I have catalyzed integration of various digital platforms into different health projects. My programmatic expertise includes project management, health policy and planning, quality improvement, advocacy & liaison with government, leading technical teams, training of health professionals, coordination with potential partners, financial management, project documentation and building partnerships with private & professional organizations. I have received national and international trainings on various immunization, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) modules and facilitated several capacity building sessions. I have experience of working in multi-ethnic & multi-cultural work environment and respect diversity, different viewpoints & opinions.
