This Opportunity:
The role is responsible for all financial matters of the partnership, reporting to the Senior Managing Partner with a reporting line to the Group CFO.
The Regional Vice President of Finance provides leadership, direction, and management of the regional finance team. The role is responsible for all finance activities and initiatives within the Region.
From a compliance and business assurance perspective, financial transactions are monitored for the region to ensure they follow general accounting policy/standards, and the organizations transfer pricing framework.

Reporting and Supervision:
The role will report directly to the Senior Managing Partner and deliver the following reporting requirements:
Attendance of all meetings with Regional Partners as required
Regular updates with the Group CFO
Monthly Region financial reporting and analysis
Exception reports as and when required
The role will form part of the Regional Partnership and report to the Senior Managing Partner
The role will be required to liaise closely with the business
The role will engage with the Group CFO and the Global Finance Team
No specific authority levels are assigned to the position
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around the Americas Business Region, and in particular, you will be expected to lead the following areas:
Stakeholder Management
Support and advise the Regional Business Partners in the achievement of all financial strategies and goals
Communicate all financial matters and issues with the Senior Managing Partner, Regional Business Partners and the Group CFO
Oversee Regional Financial Management and Accounting, Risk Management, and Facilities teams
Oversee all audits, tax filings, and reports to other regulatory agencies as designated
Assist the America’s Senior Managing Partner and Regional Business Partners in implementing the strategy, including the efforts to improve service quality and customer satisfaction
Develop, advise on, implement, and monitor appropriate systems of internal controls pertaining to processing, accounting, reporting, and safeguarding of all funds and assets under the Americas Business Region
Review Financial Management and Accounting processes to identify strengths and weaknesses, including bottlenecks, and to the extent required, modify processes to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency in close collaboration with the Senior Managing Partner, the Regional Business Partners and Group CFO
Forecasting
Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting on profitability
Manage rolling forecasts through a collaborative bottom-up approach
Ensure quality assurance over monthly forecast variance analysis
Reporting & Audit
Oversee the timely and accurate monthly financial performance of the region, ensuring identification and explanation of non-conformance
Ensure continuous monitoring of financial performance against forecasts for the region, to identify areas of concern and to recommend appropriate mitigating measures
Effectively manage the reporting requirements of the Senior Managing Partner, the Regional Business Partners, and the Group CFO
Ensure financial reports are in compliance with relevant legislation and free of material misstatements
Ensure timely submissions of Incurred Cost Proposals to the US Government and lead preparation for the subsequent audits
Taxation
Ensure all tax obligations are met and that filings are up to date for all entities within the region
Work with the Global Finance and Tax Director to ensure tax transfer pricing documentation is in line with the region’s requirements covering management expense allocation, inter-company interest charges and foreign source attribution
Finance Policies & Compliance
Ensure financial compliance with client contracting regulations and maintain awareness of changes in obligations and markets shifts in financial assessment
Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of finance policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of the finance function so that all relevant procedures/legislative requirements are fulfilled, and activities are carried out in an efficient and controlled manner
Ensure that systems are in place and functioning to identify and mitigate project financial risk and to track realized risks
Ensure provision of uniform guidance and expert technical advice on practices, procedures, reporting requirements, and status of activities relating to the Partnership’s financial management and accounting
People
Provide leadership to the regional finance and accounting functions including setting individual KRAs, reviewing performance and providing ongoing feedback on a formal and informal basis so that all direct reports and dotted line reports are aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against their objectives
Systems
Contribute to the development and implementation of systems to ensure adequate operation of the organization’s financial processing, forecasting, cash management and reporting
M&A
Contribute to the execution of strategic acquisitions from inception through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, closing, and integration of any transaction in the region
Key Competencies Required:
Broad based experience in Finance positions preferably within both small and large organizations as well as global operations, international experience and professional services activities
CPA or equivalent required
People management experience, including setting clear performance objectives, managing for results, giving and receiving feedback, performance evaluation and mentoring/coaching staff
Managerial experience within corporate finance or audit.
Experience in a job cost accounting environment and the professional services sector is highly preferred
Knowledge of U.S. government accounting, U.S. government contracting rules and regulations required
Demonstrated personal and situational awareness to build stakeholder confidence and positive relationships with individuals across all levels and areas of the firm
Listening, learning, empowering and result-orientated leadership style and management practice
Demonstrated respect for diversity and inclusion and works to actively promote an inclusive work environment and good working relationships amongst other people
High standard of written, verbal, and presentation communication skills including public speaking
Proven ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial managers (training, coaching, tool development)
Extensive understanding of accounting standards and relevant tax legislation
