The USAID INVEST Blended Finance for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Bangladesh activity aims to unlock the potential of private capital to drive inclusive growth within the Bangladeshi public health system to sustainably support maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH).
Panagora Group, a woman-owned small business specializing in global health, international development, and private sector engagement, seeks an experienced MNCH Private Sector Advisor for an anticipated 6-months USAID-funded activity in Bangladesh, titled USAID INVEST Blended Finance for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Bangladesh. The MNCH Private Sector Advisor will support activities and technical assistance related to strengthening private enterprises delivering MNCH goods and services in Bangladesh.
This is a short-term position and is contingent upon award.

Advanced degree in public health, international development, business, or related relevant field
At least 7 years of demonstrated capacity and experience designing, implementing, and managing private sector engagement activities, including working with private healthcare providers, associations, and private entities within the MNCH sector in Bangladesh.
Expertise of MNCH sector in Bangladesh
Experience and knowledge of USAID Global Health Blended Finance Roadmap and its application
Experience collaborating and(or) connections with MNCH providers, such as institutions, private sector, other public sector organizations, and/or local partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct situational analyses of private sector opportunities in the country to further MNCH care delivery and integration, improve quality care and efficiencies, and cultivate and establish strategic partnerships as needed
Identify technical assistance needs and requirements for enterprise growth in MNCH sector
Develop recommendations to support investment-readiness of MNCH private enterprises capable of achieving large-scale and sustainable impact
Identify financing and transaction opportunities in MNCH consistent with the USAID Global Health Blended Finance Roadmap
Develop strategies and lead for private sector engagement to help achieve key activity goals, including fostering partnerships with private sector to share expertise and lessons learned across blended finance and public-private partnerships and impact investments
Provide active technical support and guidance to public and private sector entities in line with activity goals and objectives
