Description

Project/Department Summary:

The Task Force for Global Health’s Communications and Development department engages constituents and partners by telling the story of The Task Force and our programs, raising awareness about global health issues, and cultivating support for The Task Force’s work.

Internship Summary: 20 Hours/Week

The intern will work with The Task Force for Global Health (TFGH) development team to help expand our outreach to current and potential supporters.

The intern will support The Task Force’s development efforts in engaging existing individual donors and cultivating new individual donors, providing support to programs through funding research, and assisting with the implementation of Salesforce.

Event management and materials creation are also potential areas of focus.

Under the supervision of the development consultant, he/she will assist with revising the acknowledgement strategy, writing thank you letters, and developing stewardship activities.

The intern will help with the organization’s implementation of Salesforce for fundraising and communication activities.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Excellent writing skills; editing/proofreading skills;

Interest or experience with cultivating donors to support non profit activities

Microsoft Office and Google Docs experience

Experience with a database like Salesforce and Canva a plus

Ability to work under deadlines

Ability to accept direction

Ideal candidate will have some experience with fundraising and knowledge of the global health community.

*This is a COVID remote position.
