CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates for the Clinical Operations Manager positions. S/he will support the mission of The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and The National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana.

*This is a forecasted position and it is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Duties Include:

  • Provide technical experience needed to manage the administrative functions within the clinic.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage various programs and work projects.
  • Coordinate committees for improving clinical program policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate revisions to current clinical program activities.
  • Coordinate special clinical projects.
  • Coordinate the activities of various clinical committees by providing logistical and technical support.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for clinical fellowship programs.
  • Act as a liaison with staff and other government and non-government offices.
  • Ensure compliance with required program, administrative and management deadlines.
  • Collect, enter and update data into tracking database. Assists with budget tracking and protocol management.
  • Perform various clinical literature searches and receives, reviews and prepares clinical/technical reports.
  • Request and initiate the purchase of materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Arrange/coordinate scientific meetings, seminars and conferences and provides appropriate background materials.
  • Qualifications

    For Junior Roles:

    Minimum Education:

  • Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred. Two years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to an Associate’s degree.
  • Minimum Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrates experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrates experience with program and protocol management, and budget tracking.
  • For Senior Roles:

    Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred. Four years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum Experience:

  • 2-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrates experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrates experience with program and protocol management, and budget tracking.
