Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Director of Local
Partnerships and Capacity Building the Capacity Building Manager is responsible
for building the capacity of partners and other stakeholders with aim of improving
their ability to execute critical supply chain functions. To accomplish this,
the Capacity Building Manager will work across all project technical areas to help
establish and build an efficient and self-reliant supply chains.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of a project wide capacity building strategy.
- Participate in the development and implementation of capacity building plans.
- Identify potential training organizations and consultants that can deliver capacity building training interventions.
- Work with the Director of Management Information Systems and Results Reporting to establish and maintain a training or capacity building database.
- Contribute to project performance reports, success stories, project presentations, and other public communication pieces.
- Develop and implement a project communications strategy.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Significant experience in training or capacity building.
- Experience with at least one of the following areas: HIV/AIDS programs and PEPFAR, Malaria/PMI, FP/RH/MNCH Knowledge of the Global Fund, WHO and the World Bank health programs preferred.
- Experience using technology and social media platforms to support performance improvement.
- Excellent written and spoken English and ability to communicate across technical disciplines and non-technical audience required. Ability to speak and write French a plus.
