The Faculty of Infectious and Tropical Diseases (ITD) aims to deliver outstanding contributions to reduce the evolving disease burden related to infections and global health inequity. We do this through research, teaching and consultancy in areas from fundamental biology through clinical research to impact on policy and practice. We run a range of popular and respected MSc courses, research degrees, short courses, and CPD.  

The Faculty of ITD is recruiting an Associate Dean (Education). The ADE will be responsible for innovation in education, supporting strategies to develop partnerships with external organisations, and be accountable for meeting targets across the student lifecycle including recruitment, admissions, and student experience within LSHTM’s planning and performance frameworks and developing plans to ensure they are met.

This is a permanent and full-time post, though a minimum of 0.8 FTE will be considered.  The role holder will have a doctoral degree in a relevant topic or equivalent qualification and will be a Fellow or Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, or will have a qualification in Teaching and Learning Practice (e.g. PG Certificate in Teaching and Learning along with significant experience of leading change and innovation in a higher education setting.  The role will be based in London at our Keppel Street building.
