Position Title: Annual Giving Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Annual Giving
Location: Boston, MA
Position Overview:
The Annual Giving Coordinator provides a broad range of support to annual donors as well as team members. The Coordinator will prioritize high-quality, timely responses for all incoming supporter and public inquiries and requests, collaborating within and across teams. The Coordinator will assist in proofreading donor communications, corresponding with agency partners, and providing insight based on trends in supporter feedback.Coordinator will maintain PIH presence on third party fundraising platforms, providing administrative support as well as light reporting. The Annual Giving team is responsible for growing unrestricted revenue at the $1 – $9,999 level, stewarding donors at this level, and increasing PIH’s donor base.
Responsibilities
- Works in partnership with Annual and Leadership Giving Coordinator to respond to all incoming supporter and public inquiries and requests.
- Ensures timely and tactful triage and response via phone, e-mail (Zendesk), website chat, and mail. Records appropriate notes, coding or follow up in Raisers Edge fundraising database. Continually identify and execute ways to improve efficiency and quality of donor support systems and take lead on the more complicated and involved tasks or questions.
- Updates monthly donor accounts as requested throughout multiple processors, including EFT gifts.
- Provides administrative and proofreading support to all CG team members; works closely with IG coordinators to ensure smooth cross-team collaboration on supply inventory, scheduling and meetings.
- Provides support on all direct marketing campaigns including project coordination, communication with agency partners, and proofing.
- Maintains membership and manage reporting processes for selected third party fundraisers.
- Assists with hosting, preparation for and publicizing of volunteer nights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of customer service and/or nonprofit experience.
- Solid computer and database skills including the functional use of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Attentive to detail, able to work efficiently in a deadline driven environment.
- Dedication to the mission of Partners In Health, including professional and accurate representation of the organization.
- Occasional evening availability required.
