This Opportunity:
Our Data, Informatics, and Analytical Solutions (DIAS) group is made of three portfolios that strengthen and harness digital and data ecosystems to accelerate development investments and outcomes: 1- Information Systems, 2- Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Analytics and 3- Digital Solutions and Transformation.
Our Digital Solutions and Transformation (DST) team works with clients, both internal and external to Palladium, to accelerate and deliver on their missions through digitally enabled approaches and innovations. We work with clients to understand the ecosystem and operating context, advising on how to integrate appropriate and responsible digital technologies that unlock insights and facilitate effective and efficient program delivery.
Palladium is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Health who will be a part of the Digital Solutions and Transformation portfolio but may also be a cross-cutting role and support the other portfolios at Palladium such as digital health project implementation, proposal development, and internal strategic initiatives for the DIAS portfolios.

Reporting and Supervision:
This role will report to the Technical Adviser, Digital Solutions and Transformation Portfolio
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Activity Implementation Support (50%):
Support technical and country teams in product research, design processes, system development, assessment, and implementation of digital health activities
Contribute to and coordinate the development of technical documentation and maintenance for digital health activities
Support the development of workplans and lead the process for routine reviews and tracking of progress against project work plans and results
Support the development and presentation of internal and external reporting, annual reviews, and client deliverables and ensure these outputs are fit for purpose
Support contract and partner management for digital health initiatives
Support the preparation of success stories, progress reports and other knowledge management products as required
Business Development Support (25%):
Coordinate the tracking of business development opportunities and specific proposal inputs
Conduct background research and desk reviews that lead to technical strategy development for proposals
Support development of technical or digital strategy language for proposals
Internal Strategy and Growth (25%):
Lead the coordination for attendance, preparation and knowledge sharing through leadership events, such as conferences and technical working group meetings
Contribute to and support internal initiatives for the DIAS portfolios, which may include research, attending working group sessions, preparing, and presenting internal report-outs, and creating and maintaining knowledge management materials and resources
Participate in external technical events and conduct research on industry trends to support emerging digital health areas such as digital self-care, telemedicine, personal health records, etc.
Key Competencies Required:
Experience supporting the design, development, and implementation of digital tools to support health service delivery or systems strengthening
Strong task management skills including planning how to complete activities and adhere to deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment with changing requirements and priorities
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and clients of different cultures, gender, and hierarchical levels
Experience working in low-resource settings with individuals with diversity of experiences and perspectives
Strong project management skills and experience using digital tools to manage projects such as Microsoft Teams, Planner, Jira
Experience configuring or implementing open-source Global Goods tools such as DHIS2, CommCare, iHRIS, and others.
Experience in visualization or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI, or open-source platforms like Metabase or Apache Superset
Professional Expertise/Competencies Preferred:
Understanding of USAID, USG, or other donor funded digital health projects preferred
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven with strong organizational skills
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team settings
