CureCervicalCancer (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer. We provide professional education for doctors and nurses in resource-poor settings surrounding cervical cancer prevention, and partner with already established clinics to support a sustainable cervical cancer prevention program.
Since 2013, CCC screened over 125,000 women, treated over 8,000 women, trained 629 healthcare professionals, and established 100 sustainable “See & Treat” clinics in 9 countries.
THE “SEE & TREAT” METHOD
- By using low-tech resources in a single visit, we spot pre-cancerous lesions and treat them immediately.
- Application of vinegar turns lesions visible (“See”), enabling precise treatment with cryotherapy or thermocoagulation (“Treat”)
- Cryotherapy and thermocoagulation are quick, minimally invasive procedures with a 85-90% cure rate.
